a timer that doesn't rush you.
Short sessions, a countdown you can actually see, and permission to stop whenever you need to. Built for brains that find starting hard.

start with five minutes
Pick 5, 10, 20 or 30 minutes, or set any length you like. Two minutes is a perfectly good session. Short timers make saying yes easy, and starting is the hardest part.
see your time, don't guess it
A countdown ring empties as you go, so you can tell how much is left at a glance. On iPhone it stays on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, even when the app is closed.
sounds that soften the room
Rain, forest, café, fireplace, lo-fi, brown noise and more. Pick one that helps you settle, or keep it silent.
estimate vs. actual
After a session, a quick time check shows how long you planned and how long it really took, with a kind note either way. A gentle way to get better at guessing time.
drifted? note it, come back
Pause a session and the app asks one gentle question: what pulled you away? Note it in one tap, or skip. Breaks are fine. Continue when you're ready.

What timer lengths can I choose?
Presets are 5, 10, 20 and 30 minutes, and you can set any custom length, from one minute up to an hour.
Is this a Pomodoro timer?
You can use it like one, but it's designed for shorter, more flexible sessions. Many people with ADHD find 25 minutes too long to start with.
Does the timer work when my phone is locked?
Yes. On iPhone, the countdown shows on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and you can pause or resume right from there.
Are the ambient sounds free?
Some sounds are free. Focus Planner Plus unlocks the full sound library.
Starting is the hardest part. Start small.
Focus Planner is free to download. Plus removes the 5-task limit and unlocks every sound and detailed insights.
